Back
in 2002, Broadway star, Carol Woods, guest-starred on
the tv series, "The Practice." Her character's
name was Maxine Ship. She was being sued by her neighbor
because her felt that her starting of every day singing
"One Moment in Time" was a nuisance and he
believed it infringed on his peaceful appreciation of
his home.
The
storyline focused on the trial and the reasons why Maxine
HAD to start each day with this song which had been
a huge hit for Whitney Houston.
The
judge ordered "Maxine" to sing the song in
court.
